Wallet won't connect or session dropped

Connection failures, sessions ending unexpectedly, and "does not exist" errors.

Wallet won’t connect

Make sure the wallet extension is unlocked before you click connect, and that you’re not switching networks mid-connect, the trading key signs locally and doesn’t care which chain your wallet is on, but the wallet itself still needs to be responsive.

Session ended on its own

If your connection drops without you disconnecting, the most common cause is the wallet session itself ending somewhere else, a logout in another tab, or the session token simply expiring. This site notices and disconnects cleanly rather than showing a wallet it can no longer act for. Reconnect the same way you did the first time.

“User or API Wallet … does not exist”

This means the trading key this site tries to sign with isn’t registered on your Hyperliquid account anymore. It can happen if the approval never fully landed, if you’re switching between testnet and mainnet with the same browser profile, or if an old key was pruned for inactivity. Re-run the connect flow, it issues a fresh key and re-approves it.

“API wallet slots are full”

Hyperliquid caps how many trading keys an account can have approved at once. If you hit this, the setup flow shows your existing keys with a remove action, free one up and try again.
